What's the difference between nominal and exact size?
EverFilter
Nominal is the label size (like 20×20×1). Exact is the real measured size, usually slightly smaller. We subtract 1/4" on Length and Width. Use nominal unless your slot is unusually tight.

My filter slot is tight. Will the aluminum frame fit?

Yes, it's designed for a snug seal. If your slot runs extra tight, we can exchange for a slightly smaller frame so it slides in smoothly.
