General Questions

What does Purity Air sell?

Purity Air provides engineered air filtration products and air quality tools for residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. Our product lineup includes:

  • EverFilter reusable filter systems
  • Commercial HVAC filters
  • Indoor air quality test kits
  • Air quality monitoring devices

Each product serves a different purpose and is clearly defined on its product page.

Are your products medical or HEPA-grade?

No. Our products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose or treat health conditions. We do not market or claim HEPA-level or medical-grade filtration unless explicitly stated on a specific product page.

EverFilter Reusable Filter System

What is EverFilter?

EverFilter is a reusable aluminum-framed HVAC filter system designed to reduce disposable filter waste while maintaining airflow. Depending on the product variant, EverFilter may use:

  • Refillable filter media pads
  • A permanent, washable electrostatic multi-layer filter

Each product page clearly states which version applies.

Is EverFilter a fully reusable filter?

The frame is reusable indefinitely. Media handling depends on the specific EverFilter product:

  • Some models use replaceable media pads
  • Some models use a permanent, washable electrostatic filter

EverFilter products do not combine these systems. The product page will clearly indicate which design you are purchasing.

Does EverFilter restrict airflow?

EverFilter products are designed with airflow in mind. Like all filters, restriction increases as the filter loads with debris. Proper sizing, installation, and maintenance are critical. We recommend following HVAC manufacturer guidelines and replacing or cleaning filters on schedule.

Is EverFilter compatible with my HVAC system?

EverFilter is designed for standard residential and light commercial HVAC filter housings, typically 1" or 2" nominal depth. It is not designed for:

  • Custom housings outside standard depths
  • HEPA cabinets
  • Powered electronic air cleaners

If you are unsure, contact support before ordering.

How often do I service EverFilter?

Service intervals depend on the product type and environment:

  • Replaceable media systems: typically every 30 to 90 days
  • Washable electrostatic systems: clean every 30 to 60 days

High dust environments may require more frequent service.

Commercial HVAC Filters

Do you sell commercial filters?

Yes. We supply commercial and industrial HVAC filters including panel filters, 12" box filters, pocket bag filters, and specialty configurations depending on availability.

Are commercial filters returnable?

Commercial filters may be subject to different return policies, especially for bulk orders, special sizes, or made-to-order products. Refer to the product page or contact support before ordering. Return shipping must be paid and all products must be unopened and unused. 14 day return only.

Can commercial filters be used in residential systems?

Some commercial filters may fit residential systems, but they are not always appropriate due to airflow, pressure drop, or system design. We recommend using products designed specifically for residential HVAC unless advised otherwise by a professional.

Air Quality Test Kits

What is the Air Test Kit?

The Air Test Kit is a consumer indoor air screening tool designed to help identify the possible presence of common indoor contaminants. It is intended for awareness, not diagnosis.

Does the Air Test Kit provide lab-certified results?

Results are processed through qualified laboratories; however, the kit does not replace professional inspections or medical testing. It provides general insights into indoor air conditions.

Can I return an Air Test Kit?

Once an Air Test Kit has been opened or used, it is not eligible for return due to contamination control and handling requirements.

Air Quality Monitors (Smart AirSense)

Does the Smart AirSense Monitor clean the air?

No. The Smart AirSense Monitor does not filter or clean air. It measures and displays indoor air quality data in real time.

Is the Smart AirSense Monitor connected to my HVAC system?

No. It operates independently and does not connect to, control, or modify HVAC equipment.

Is the Smart AirSense Monitor medical-grade?

No. It is designed for trend monitoring and awareness, not clinical or regulatory compliance.

Orders, Shipping, and Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?

Orders may be canceled only before processing or shipment. Once an order enters fulfillment or ships, it cannot be canceled.

Can I cancel a subscription?

Yes. Subscriptions can be canceled or modified through your customer portal at any time before the next billing date. Canceling a subscription stops future shipments only.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary by product and location. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Processing times may increase during high-volume periods.

Returns, Refunds, and Warranty

What is your return policy?

Eligible unused products may be returned according to our return policy. Shipping fees and restocking fees may apply. Custom, used, or consumable items may not be eligible.

What if my product arrives damaged?

Contact support immediately with photos of the damage. Do not discard packaging until the issue is resolved.

Do your products include a warranty?

Many products include a limited manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and are listed on the product page where applicable.
